@musebyanyothername​ sent  ℧ and received the scenario: Dillon and Jack meet on a blind date. Jack wants to go on another date, but Dillon isn't sure.

if there was one thing jack didn’t need, it was for his friends to set him up on a date. he could date whoever he wanted if he put the effort in but it was just the case that he wasn’t looking for anyone. still, to appease them he’d gone along with it. a few drinks and some company, it wasn’t the worst evening of his life. admittedly he found out that dillon was pretty interesting. the sort of interesting he could maybe see himself spending more time with. he’d offered to walk her home out of politeness and they had to have been about half way into their journey which had been (in his opinion) filled with comfortable silence. “so — can i see you again?”

"i can still order from them every once in a while. y’know, to keep them afloat. i wouldn’t want to run the place to the ground.” jack shrugs slightly at her dismissal, using the space she provides to inside. “you never know when something might come up. nice to meet you elira. it’s jack — or takeout man, whatever you prefer.”
